Dynamic performances will be needed to compete but developing the Academy Players further into Adult cricket and also supporting the Saturday Teams Players with additional match practice are our main aims this season.

Various personal bests were achieved last year as confidence improved and there is a great atmosphere around the place at the Trent Bridge Winter Nets. This partly comes from positive thinking and cricketing optimism but above all players who are passionate about all things cricket.

We will be trying to play the game with fun and create real team energy which should help with improving PB’s even further as confidence grows in our players.

If you are thinking about coming back to cricket or taking up the sport I can’t recommend Southwell CC highly enough. We have an awesome group of players at all levels and abilities who are pleasure to be involved with.
