Wet weather throughout the week left Top Ground unplayable after three consecutive downpours in the morning and early afternoon. Having sat through 3 hours of intermittent rainy spells the match was finally called off at 2:30 as puddles began to form on the outfield.
The constant rain is becoming frustrating for Southwell now who have missed out on extending their lead at the top of Division C and now find themselves joint top with Beeston and Toton Sycamore who have played one extra game. Radcliffe 2nd XI next week now becomes an important fixture as the league gets tighter.
