Hope you’re enjoying the summer holidays and are preparing for the heatwave that’s supposedly on its way ?. We look forward to seeing our kwik cricketers at Top Ground this Friday at the usual time, thank you to all of you for your support.

Next Friday, 1st September, will be our final kwik cricket session of the season, please note this will be a shorter session than normal - 6pm until 7pm.

Afterwards, at 7pm, we would like to invite everyone to our junior presentation and club social evening in the pavilion. The presentation is for ALL kwik and hardball junior cricketers. The evening will kick off with the presentations and then there will be a quiz a bit later for those of you wishing to stay on.

Obviously the bar will be open and our lovely ladies in the kitchen, Alison and Jo, will be providing a selection of refreshments, hot dogs, chips, ice lollies. We will also be ordering takeaways from Neelam Balti (Lowdham) for anyone wishing to have curry - they do need to have an idea of numbers for this though so please email or text Jo Clarke if you wish to be included (07817 860862 / joanne943clarke@btinternet.com).

There will be games for the youngsters and a raffle – prize donations welcome on the night, or bring to the kwik cricket sessions this Friday or next.
