The Annual General Meeting ("AGM") of Southwell Cricket Club will take place on Monday 26th November 2018 at 7.30pm at The Reindeer Inn, 26 Westgate, Southwell, NG25 0JH. The 2019 season promises to be another exciting one in the development of the Club, come along, find our more about our plans and have your say. The AGM business is summarised below, and the proposed agenda, together with minutes of last year's AGM are attached for ease of reference.

A. ELECTION OF OFFICIALS AND COMMITTEE MEMBERS, AND APPOINTMENT OF OFFICIALS TO SUB-COMMITTEES

Other than the positions of Chair and Vice Chair, who were elected for a term of two years in 2017, the Club will elect officials to the following positions:-

Executive Officers:Treasurer, Secretary, 1st XI Captain, 2nd XI Captain, Sunday XI Captain, 1st XI Vice Captain, 2nd XI Vice Captain, Sunday XI Vice Captain, Child Welfare Officer, Junior Cricket Co-ordinator, Bar Manager, Youth Cricket Ambassador, Premier Club & Membership Secretary, Social Secretary, Press & Community Liaison Officer, Additional Committee Members.

Please note that following adoption of the new constitution at last year's AGM, it is no longer necessary for members to nominate officers; the constitution allows for incumbent officers to be automatically nominated, unless they withdraw. A list of nominees under the automatic nomination provision is attached.

Any other member wishing to stand as an executive officer of the Club who has not been nominated under the automatic nomination provision of the constitution shall require to be nominated in writing by members of the Club, with such nominations for officers shall be sent to the Secretary at least 7 days prior to the AGM, or Wednesday 21 November 2018.

B. OTHER BUSINESS

The AGM will also include ordinary year end business, including the following: Chairman's Report, Treasurer's Report, First XI Report, Second XI Report, Sunday XI Report, Junior Cricket Report, Auditor and setting of Subscription and Match Fees for the 2019 season. Minutes of last year's AGM and the agenda for this year's AGM are attached for reference.
