The tour was a great success albeit the weather did not behave entirely. We played Oulton CC that was rained off whilst we were in a strong position to win. Micheal Bell scoring a ton and Grant McCarthy no on 97 when the rain came down.  The Toft match was rained off however the squad were invited by the Toft Manager, Uwe Kock to tour the Bentley factory. A very interesting guided tour!

Luck to play a full match against Whitchurch followed by a BBQ. A closely contested match that Southwell won by 12 runs.

Concluded the tour with a 20/20 match against Grappenhall on the Friday against all odds as the weather did all it could to preclude a match being played. Thankfully, courtesy of a very keen opposition Manager and his team, they did all they could to ensure a wicket could be played on eventually before we started. Again an exciting match that Southwell won in the last over chasing 176.

Player of the tour was Michael Bell who batted well throughout.

Grant McCarthy won champagne moment for some stunning fielding and a very quick 97 at Oulton

All players contributed well and both supporters and players had a great week spent together at the Reasheath university campus.
